Newborn Photography • Chicago + Chicagoland
The first days are tender.
And fast.
Here’s the calm timeline that makes booking feel easy.
The quick answer
Most families book during pregnancy (second or third trimester) to reserve their due‑date month — then we choose the exact session date once baby arrives. If your baby is already here, you’re not behind. Lifestyle newborn photos can still be beautifully meaningful.
When should you reach out?
20–34 weeks is a sweet spot.
You don’t need the perfect plan. You just need breathing room —
especially if you want a certain month or day of the week.
We confirm the final date after baby arrives.
Baby-led newborn sessions are flexible. Once you’re home and settled, you’ll reach out,
and we’ll choose a day that supports your recovery and your baby’s rhythm.
What if baby is already here?
You’re not behind. In‑home lifestyle newborn photography doesn’t depend on a perfectly sleepy baby or a perfect day. We can create a meaningful gallery whether your baby is a few days old or a little older — awake, curious, snuggly, and so real.
What booking looks like (simple steps)
Step 1
Inquire with your due date (or baby’s age) + your city.
Step 2
Choose your collection (I’ll help if you’re unsure).
Step 3
Receive prep guidance — calm, simple, and not overwhelming.
Step 4
We set the final date once baby arrives.
